A stronger, faster, and more intuitive sequel

We took our popular TPT (Titanium Pocket Tool) and cranked it up a notch. This TSA-friendly tool packs in a ton of convenient features in a lightweight and portable package.

On the new version, we’ve made the body 25% thicker for strength, and added a slide lever at the top for quick and easy access to the insert. It’s now even easier to carry, thanks to the removable pocket clip. All of this is in addition to the the tools on the original TPT.

Quality pocket utility blade

I like the look of the design. The build of the design feels solid. It does not seem like it is cheaply made. Changing the blade out is not easy, but once you learn the method for changing the blade it becomes a little easier. Using the tool so far a has been great. I hope that it continues to perform well over time. Lastly, I would like to purchase the black version as well when it becomes available.

Work of Art

The TPT Slide is awesome. Sleek and slick. Useful but also a work of art in terms of craftsmanship. I'm super happy with both of mine... TI and Matte Black.

Doesn't live up to the hype

It's well built and I'm going to use it, but it definitely doesn't live up to all the hype around it, nor does it feel like $80 well spent. I'm not a fan of how the blades are meant to be swapped, and have reasonable fear that when I do put a live blade in that I'm going to knick myself. And on the subject of live blades and an $80 price tag, I really expected it to come with at least one edged insert. Not a matter of misreading the listing, it's just how I feel and expect it should come for what the asking price is.

Long story short, I feel like I got $30 worth of product for $80. Hopefully it grows on me, but the hype is far overshadowing the truth.

2nd one

I lost the first one. Liked it enough to spend another $75 on a 2 inch utility knife. Hard to justify, but this is exactly what I am looking for to carry every day. You cannot find better built product. Well worth the price.
