I can not speak highly enough about this pen. The weight, the shape, the versatility, the aesthetic, everything! I originally saw this pen on the Lochby blog and was fasciated. After I saw the Figboot review, I knew I needed it. It feels amazing in the hand, and the extra o-rings give the cap such a snug feel, it's a great experience to just uncap the pen.
Two nibs for the fountain pen, and a refill for the ball point/rollarball/gel section! The value is in favor of the buyer.
Lastly, I got mine in 1 day! I don't know how that happened, but it arrived in record time.
This pen is worth so much more, and for a titanium pen, It feels great as an EDC.

Best pen ever after 50 years of pen collecting! I'm 62. I just love it. Thanks!
I have many TI pens, and this will be a "dressy" pen for me. It looks and feels amazing! I have not tried the fountain pen yet, but the included rollerball is great. The only thing I would question is the pen clip, which seems fragile to me. I don't think I could carry this everyday, for example, because the clip looks like it would bend easily if the pen was mishandled in the pants pocket. I don't like how it wiggles. I think if the pen clip were beefed up in thickness and at the attachment site, this would make it perfect.
That said, for a dressy pen, this more than fits the image of a classy looking pen. Thanks for your hard work and craftsmanship!
This pen looks and works as well in the boardroom as it does when I’m working outside. A quick conversion is all it takes to go from an elegant fountain pen to a ballpoint with waterproof ink. I plan to keep this pen close by for many years to come.
I received the Ti Ultra Pen about 3 weeks ago and have been using it everyday. I will first comment on the Ballpoint/Rollerball portion of the pen since I just received my ink for the fountain pen a few days ago. All I can say is WOW. For one, the ink cartridge that it came with writes great. It is an extra fine point pilot black ink cartridge. I have tested every insert that I could find and the pen accepted everyone of them. So, you will be able to write with whatever ink you fancy. Onto the fountain tip portion of the pen. I started with the titanium nib that already had the ink converter attached. I found that it wrote smooth, but was a bit wide for my taste. I am not going to lie, I got used to the black extra fine point rollerball the pen came with. So, I went through the relatively painless process of switching out the Ti nib for the stainless steel fine tip nib the pen also comes with. I noticed the difference right away. The fine steel nib was much thinner. I went with Mont Blanc Royal Blue, which I must say writes incredibly smooth and is the perfect shade of blue, in my opinion.
The pen is not perfection, however, when you fill the ink, it has a tendency to remain in the grip rings because they are so close together. But, you can remove most of it with an absorbent paper towel and patience. Other than that, I am completely in love with this pen and thought he price tag seems hefty, I believe that it is worth it. Even if you decide that you do not want to utilize the fountain pen aspect very often, you still have a pen that will take nearly any insert, that will most likely outlast you.
Quick question for Big Idea Design: Do you have an extra fine nib available? Though I do like the fine tip, I would really appreciate the chance to utilize an extra fine nib.
Get this pen, you will not have buyer’s remorse.
