I enjoyed my Ti Arto and do not regret buying it but I had to stop using it for Signo DX refills because they kept drying out. The plastic cap that comes with the standard pen body has a tight fit over the pen tip and it doesn’t dry out. I used the To Arto for more than a year and struggled with my nice gel pen refills drying out so I finally had to put my Ti Arto back in the box.
Bought as a gift so I have no personal experience.
I've been wanting this for a long time. Finding occasion to spend $85 on a pen was never going to happen... my daughter thought it would make a good gift. Boy was she right. This is my very favorite pen now, and best I've ever owned - largely of course because I can choose the refill I love, and use the barrel of a higher quality writing instrument. A word of caution however - it is and feels like raw metal. You are getting a very rugged, visceral writing instrument, which I happen to love, but it may not be for everyone. A small observation with regard to durability - the elastic O rings situated in grooves on both ends to ease the chatter of the threaded cap and provide a good seal when the pen is closed - seem like they could possibly wear out with frequent use, or perhaps even just with time. I hope I can order more, or find a suitable substitute when the time comes. As for the rest of the pen... I bet it'll last the rest of my life. I love it.
I am looking for a pen for a long time and then came across it during research
The price is reasonable and quality is superb with the material I am looking for
Also, it is a excellent design to incorporate hundreds of refills.
I think I have found a pen that became one of my collections
