Ti Field Watch / Solar Driven / Stonewashed

This is the second watch I've ever owned and the first that I have ever bought on my own. So far, it has been a good watch as I've worn it every day. It is comfortable/lightweight, fitting to my personal style, rugged/not easily broken or damaged, and overall a good utility to have "on hand".
I just note that the timeline of ownership has only been a few weeks so any long term issues that have been mentioned in other reviews such as Date misalignment, lost time, battery loss and so forth have not had the proper amount of time to have the potential to take place. That being said, me and my clumsy self have accidentally wacked it on a few hard surfaces and there are so far no scratches or marks to report. Very much enjoyed.
I would like to direct your attention to a 2 star review that went in depth that I want to share one specific point of agreement on that I want people to be aware of. The rotating bezel. It is very cool in theory. It would be even cooler if it worked "better". It does not stay in place. The bezel, who's function is meant to serve as a sort of time, cannot serve that function as it will move and lose its original set place. It is now just a fidget toy as I know I cannot rely on it's intended function.
It must be said that I am not a watch person. I look things up and read reviews to understand what I am buying to the best of my ability. This was a great first watch for someone like me, bezel comment aside. I am confident in its build and being aware that I will be able to send it in for repairs should issues arise only makes me feel better.
There is the conversation of price. Where I am not an expert in this area, I could always argue that things COULD be a bit less expensive. I have yet to interact with the company beyond the purchase of this watch and so I cannot say whether or not I see their pricing as worth their work. I did see a question be answered that the parts are sourced internationally but assembled in China. I am personally unaware of what savings/cost benefits this allows the company but I would assume this is a factor in pricing. Beyond this, I could assume machined titanium isn't cheap. I am pleased with the product I paid for, there is just always an open conversation about pricing that I think could be had.
Overall, I really do enjoy this product. I will be getting a lot of use out of it pending any dire issues. The reason for a 3 star review is this: Price COULD be better but is still understandable. An advertised function (Rotating bezel) of the watch is not entirely useless, but is unable to serve in the way that it is advertised due to improper function. I am awaiting further time passing and usage of the product to see if time gated malfunctions come to pass or if this holds to the test of time.

My first watch with them had a misaligned movement. They quickly replaced it, and the movement is much more accurate. The strap options are OK. As opposed to snapping directly to the case, the strap threads under the case and back out the other side. Not my favorite option, as I would prefer a strap that simply snaps into the lugs.

Used to have several mechanical watches but got fed up with having to set the time and the lag of accuracy.

Couldn’t be happier now and this watch has replaced all my other watches.

Over a month the TI Field Watch Solar measured +5s, which is way better than the movements specs.
Finish and fit is very good and I think this watch will last a long time.
The bezel is a great addition and should be found on more watches. But I would have preferred a 60 click bezel instead of a friction one.

The NATO strap is a bit too short so I replaced it with a MN strap. A change I would recommend to anyone who haven’t tried a MN strap yet.
The drilled lugs make strap changes very easy.
Watch size could be a bit larger, but I understand that most prefer the 40 mm size.

All in all I really recommend getting this watch and can’t understand that it doesn’t get more praise from watch channels.

It's a great watch. Especially with the ti bracelet from RZE. It's a great product like everything else from Big Idea Design.

This's my second Big Idea Design product. I like both of them. Look forward to buying their new mechanical things in the future!
