Got the Slim line Bolt Action pen in the mail today. Weight and smoothness of the bolt action is spot on. The machining and design is simple, yet very well thought out. Shows the ingenuity it took to produce a pen that can accept a multitude of refill types. Bravo BID team.
Came on here to buy the mini bolt action to put in my garage built gear pouch, but sadly saw it was sold out.

Slim Bolt Action Pen
This pen goes with me everywhere. It is absolutely perfectly shaped, balanced, and finished. It's so good I bought I second one just to have a different colour ink available at hand. Not to mention this pen can accept so many different refills with ease. It's simplicity in design and shape is what makes it as beautiful as it is useful. The only thing that makes it better is that it is made of my favourite material... Titanium. Thank you Big Idea Design.

Base Line Bolt Action Pen - Copper
Full transparency I purchased this pen for the option of the changeable ink refills which is great as I prefer a fine blue refill - Parker.
The Pen itself is very well made and looks good with the titanium clip. The Bolt Action works seamlessly. Writes well for medium black and has good weight.
Subjective - for me (a woman with smaller hands), I find the circumference of the Base Line Bolt Action Pen just a little to much for me to write with it on a daily bases hours at a time, as my fingers tire. But I have 3 Mini dual side click's, (Copper, Brass and Titanium-Raw), pens which are perfect for me. I use these Mini's Copper and Brass daily, and the the Titanium-Raw and the Base Line Bolt Action Pen- Copper are in my purse and are used as needed when I am out and about. I have adjusted to blue medium refills for the the mini's. Still looking for "fine blue" refills.
Notwithstanding, I would still recommend this pen.
